Canam’s services were retained by the contractor for the supply and installation of the Hambro D500 composite floor system for the construction of the Shaver Green Apartments, a building of low income housing LEED-Gold certified.
This six-story building has 85 apartments, a community center and a parking of 32 spaces.
The six floor levels are entirely designed from Hambro products. To support the load of the five upper floors, the first floor is a Hambro transfer slab including Hambro D500 joists and girders.
Contribution of engineering and design teams in Boucherville, Sunnyside, and Romania. Together, they performed engineering and drawings of the steel structure necessary for this multi-family project, in three weeks.
Area: 82,200 ft2 (7,637 m2).
