Description

Canam’s services were selected for the supply of the structural steel for the Sanford Coyote Sports Center of South Dakota University.

This three-story sports center includes a sports science, health and research department with state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratories, clinics, administrative offices and an arena seating 6,000 fans for basketball and volleyball games. In addition, a 400-meter National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) certified race track and two soccer fields complete the facilities, first of the sort in the Midwest.

For this project, Canam supplied standard and bowstring joists. Area: 118,428 ft.2 (11,002 m2).
