Construction of a new Nova Steel plant located in Delta, Ohio that will produce hollow structural sections and standard pipes.

Features

Special joist girders

At the owner’s request, Canam designed custom joist girders built entirely from HSS materials supplied by Nova Tube. 

Non-load-bearing panels

The wall panels supplied by Murox are almost all non-load bearing, in expectation of future expansions. These are ideal for this type of project, as they can be removed and reused during the expansion.

Difficult job site conditions

The erection of the structure required two cranes and two crews of erectors to meet the schedule under difficult conditions. Water accumulation on the job site required drainage to make it safer for the delivery of the steel components and the erection of the structure.
