Canam’s services were selected for the supply of structural steel for the Marc-Simoneau sport complex project.
The construction of the complex was carried out in two phases. The first one included the demolition of the Giffard arena allowing the renovation of the existing ice, and adding a second ice surface. The second one allowed the construction of a synthetic soccer stadium including three seven players fields and one for 11 players, in addition to 12 rooms for players and two more for referees.
Canam supplied joists, steel structure and steel deck for this project. Area: 148,295 ft2 (13,777 m2).
