HS-2 Water Treatment Plant

Description

Construction of the HS-2 water treatment plant at Mont-Wright, Quebec, a mining site near the town of Fermont on the Côte-Nord.

This plant will treat more than 8,000,000 litres of water per year.

Efficient coordination

The work, in a remote region and during a pandemic period, required close follow-up with the various suppliers to ensure the availability of labour and materials. Weekly meetings were held with the client and its professionals to carry out the required technical coordination.

Ahead of schedule

The erection of the steel structure and the exterior finish of the building, which was scheduled to take seven weeks, was completed in five weeks.
