Description

Canam’s services were selected for the supply and installation of the entire envelope of this Baie-Comeau Canadian Tire.

Canam provided Murox prefabricated load-bearing wall panels as well as conventional steel structures such as joists, joist girders, structural components and steel deck. We find two outer walls finished in metallic coating cold rolled from a steel sheet + TM 8000 Series.

The steel sheet is covered with a coating of polyester resin and silicone, a proven formula which increases the durability of the coating and color retention. A third wall has an exterior finish DensGlass Gold® with bricks fasteners factory installed and ready to receive the masonry construction.

The façade of the building consists of a conventional frame, beams and columns, ready to receive concrete panels to the site.

  • Project delivered the fourth week following the approval of engineering drawings by the client
  • The assembly was done in nine days.

Area: 13,000 ft2 (1,208 m2).
