The New Audi dealership in Anjou, Montréal, was built with about 675 tons of structural steel comprising of 800 joists and girders and 62,000 ft2 of Murox prefabricated walls. The major challenge for this project was the small size of the construction site. Squeezed between a residential area and a major motorway in Montreal.
Canam’s services were selected for the steel structure supply and installation of the entire building envelope for this Toyota and Honda car dealers located in Mississauga, Ontario. For this project, Canam supplied Murox shop-fabricated load-bearing wall panels as well as joists, conventional steel structures and steel deck. Area: Dixie Toyota, 39,040 ft.2 (3,326 m2) and Ideal Honda, 31,210 ft.2 (2,900 m2).
Canam’s services were selected for the supply and installation of the Hambro D500 composite floor system for the expansion of the Vancouver Mercedes-Benz. With a showroom of 36,700 ft2 (3,410 m2) and a service area of 26,960 ft2 (2,505 m2), it will become a mega-dealership and the new regional headquarters of Mercedes-Benz in Western Canada.
