Tony Poulin, Drafting Service Manager and Carolann Lachance, Drafter, two employees of Canam Group, will jointly present a conference at the Autodesk University event in Las Vegas from November 14 to 16. The theme for this annual conference, which brings together thousands of professionals from the construction industry, will be The Future of Making Things.
Their conference entitled Using Revit and Advance Steel for Heavy and Light-Gage Steel Detailing will explain how Canam Group integrated Advance Steel detailing software in order to detail steel beams in light gage stud walls in the firm’s multiresidential projects. Participants will learn, among others, how to create light gage stud walls and header beams with MWF software, developed by StrucSoft Solutions, a Revit® add-in.
The one-hour conference, will first be presented as part of the pre-conference activities on Monday, November 13 at 1:30 p.m. (Session MSF122823), and will be presented again on Thursday, November 16 at 2: 15 p.m. (Session BLD129157).
